Benwickdickensianmarket
In 2008 the Benwick Residents Association
bravely put together a Dickensian Market to try
to raise some community spirit in the village.
What resulted was a succesful day which was
enjoyed by all. Last year was another
successful event despite the best efforts of
the weather to try and dampen the spirits. In
true community spirit the village is holding
another market this year and we expect it to be
as successful as the former ones.
Benwick Dickensian Market
19th November 2011
As with previous years the Dickensian Market will be held towards the
end of November. Patricia Tickner, the BRA Chair person and her team
have started the organisation of this years event and the hard work is
now under way.
The timing will give us the opportunity of holding this market near to
Christmas and allowing the chance of setting another during the
warmer months should it ultimately prove successful.
