Welcome to the website of the three piece blues band that goes by the name of
Fenboy3. Fenboy3 can be found at various locations throughout cambridgeshire
and surrounding counties plying their style of blues, swamp rock and rock n roll
and are guaranteed to bring any occasion to life.
Tim fronts the band with his distinct clean guitar sound and unique vocals.
Supported by Alan The Hat on drums and Rob Fannyrat on bass Fenboy3 supply
a tight set of blues sounds ranging from the likes of Howlin Wolf, Muddy Waters,
The Kings - BB, Ben E and Albert, Peter Greens early Fleetwood Mac moving
through to Swamp Rock and generally ending the set with a raunchy series of
rock n roll favourites.

Swamp Rock? You may ask the question! And that would be a very good one at that. A number of the tracks played by
Fenboy3 are similar to the rolling blues hits made famous by the likes of Creedence Clearwater Revival which originates
around the Louisiana Bayou. Tim has also written in this style and the Fens, along with the marshes and swamps are the
closest we have to the Bayou. Hence the term Swamp Rock. Tims "Medicine Man" lollops along in this style creating that
foot tapping sound which is infective, in a similar manner to Howlin Wolfs Smokestack Lightning.
